Vibrant colors & GREAT quality
I’ve only used two services for ordering custom cables (CableMod & Ensourced) and can say for a fact Ensourced is WAY better than CableMod in many ways and here’s why: Colors: Ensourced has a great select of colors to choose from, accompanied by beautiful photos as well. Ensourced has over 100+ photos on his site and Facebook page so you should be able to get a VER GOOD IDEA of what you’re going to get. I love that he includes the colors used in those photos (as straight forward as it can get). No computer-generated proof that keeps you guessing (an issue I had with CableMod); you get exactly what you see. They also link you to a cable simulator where you can customize your cables to whatever combo you want (with the colors provided). Very easy to use! Quality: Each cable arrives unfolded, with at least four Ensourced 3-D printed cable combs, and in its own plastic zip-locked bag. Heat shrink-less cables are a total added bonus too. Service: Before my purchase, I sent an email inquiry for colors that worked with my build and received a reply with 24 hours. Since I’m not familiar with cables and modding in general, I had lots of questions on what 20+4 vs 20 pin were + other cable questions. Ensourced has a live chat where Joey answered all of my silly questions right away – really thankful for that! Price: Prices are competitive. I bought the same number of cables (24-pin power, 8-pin cpu, x2 6-pin GPU) as I did from CableMod (~$130+ with cable comb pack for $11.50) while Ensourced was cheaper (~$105) and you even get free cable combs with your purchase! Long story short, I had a terrible experience with CableMod + their customer service and found myself at Ensourced after doing a Google search. I actually got over-excited about purchasing the cables that I ended up purchasing the wrong lengths (ugh) and now must wait another 2+ weeks for my re-order but I’ll definitely recommend Ensourced to anyone!
