A fan extension cable extends the connection between a fan and its existing motherboard header or fan hub. It is used when the original fan cable is too short for clean routing or when you want a sleeved cable that matches the rest of your build.
An extension cable does not add fan connections or split one header between multiple fans. Build one extension for each fan connection that needs one.
Measure the complete route from the fan to its motherboard header or fan hub, including any cable-routing openings and bends. Choose a length that reaches comfortably without leaving unnecessary excess cable.
If you need several fan extensions, measure each route separately. Fans in different locations often need different cable lengths.

These extensions are wonderful, they are crafted as well as the PSU Extensions. The wire wraps allow the sleeves to be guided around components on the motherboard with aesthetics in mind, so the wires have flowing, steady curves without signs of looseness. What a time to be alive in this world.
