Build the Extension Cable Order Your PC Needs

This page is for customers planning a complete group of visible power extensions for a PC build. It is not a preset bundle. A 24-pin motherboard extension is commonly included, but every order is built from the individual cables your components require.

Each cable is priced individually. There is no price penalty for choosing only the cables you need.

Choose the Cables Your System Uses

• 24-pin motherboard extension: Connects to the main motherboard power connection.
• CPU/EPS extension cables: Choose the number and connector type required by your motherboard.
• PCI-e extension cables: Choose the number and connector type required by your graphics card.
• 12V-2x6 / 12VHPWR extension adapter: Choose this option when your graphics card uses a supported 16-pin GPU power connection.
• Molex, SATA power, and fan extensions: Add these only when your build needs them.

Check the labels on your motherboard, graphics card, and existing power-supply cables before choosing cable types. If you are unsure which connections your PC needs, contact me before ordering.

Extension Cable Compatibility

These are universal extension cables that connect between your existing PSU cables and your PC components. You do not need to select a PSU brand or model.

Extension cables do not connect directly to the modular ports on a power supply. If you need direct replacement cables for a modular PSU, view the custom modular PSU cable options.

How to Order

1. Open the Cable Designer for Extension Cables.
2. Choose the first extension cable your PC needs.
3. Select its length, connector color, curve orientation, Wire Wrap color, sleeving design, quantity, and crafting period.
4. Add the cable to your Designer order, then repeat for each additional cable.
5. Review the itemized order and total price.
6. Save the completed order, then select Add Order to Cart to continue to checkout.

Cable Length and Curve Orientation

Extension cables only need to reach from the connected component to the point where they join your existing PSU cables, usually near the rear of the case. You do not need to measure the full route back to the power supply.

Extension cables are available from 20 cm to 70 cm. Choose enough length for clean routing, smooth bends, and final connector positioning without adding unnecessary excess cable.

Choose No Curve if the cable does not need to be shaped in a specific direction. Choose Clip Inside or Clip Outside when you need the connector clip to face a particular direction after the cable is routed.

Design and Construction

Each cable is handcrafted using 16 AWG stranded copper wire and high-density paracord sleeving. Choose from more than 75 sleeving colors and select the Wire Wrap color in the Cable Designer. One Wire Wrap is included for approximately every 10 cm of cable length.

Use the Cable Designer to create a single-color cable, build a custom sleeving pattern, or reference a previous Ensourced order design where supported.

Pricing and Crafting

The Cable Designer displays the current price for each cable and the total for your completed order. Pricing changes based on cable type, selected options, quantity, and crafting period.

Each cable is made to order. The selected crafting period is the time needed to make the order before it ships. Shipping time begins after crafting is complete.
