Before You Design
This cable requires a compatible native 12V-2x6 connection on the power-supply side. It does not connect to standard 8-pin PCIe PSU ports, and it is not an extension cable.
Modular PSU cables are not universal, even when the connectors appear to fit. Check the Modular Cable Compatibility Chart before ordering. In the Cable Designer, select the matching compatibility type and enter your exact PSU brand and model.
Never use this cable with a different power supply unless compatibility has been confirmed.
How to Order
- Find your exact power supply on the Modular Cable Compatibility Chart.
- Open the Cable Designer and select the modular cable category.
- Choose the 12V-2x6 / 12VHPWR PCI-e 5.0 cable and enter the matching PSU compatibility type, exact brand, and model.
- Select your cable length, connector color, Wire Wraps, sleeving design, and crafting period.
- Review the completed design, then select Add Order to Cart in the Cable Designer.
Measuring Cable Length
Available lengths are 30–80 cm. Measure the complete route from the power supply to the graphics card, including cable-management openings and the space needed for smooth bends.
The 12V-2x6 connector should be fully seated at the graphics card. Avoid sharp bends immediately beside the connector and allow enough length for final positioning.
Design and Construction

- Wire Wraps installed at approximately one wrap per 10 cm of cable length
- Built by hand for the selected PSU pinout and cable length

No. This cable has a 12V-2x6 connection at both ends. The modular adapter cable is for compatible PSUs that use standard PCIe connections on the PSU side.
Can I move this cable to another power supply?
No, unless compatibility between the exact PSU models has been confirmed. A connector fitting into the PSU does not confirm that the pinout is compatible.
